Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non smokers and the second leading cause of lung cancer for smokers. Radon is difficult to detect as it is odor less, colorless, and tasteless. The only accurate way to detect Radon is to have a certified test conducted in your home, office, or business. We offer our clients certified radon testing services using the latest in electronic radon testing equipment. We are able to provide comprehensive test results in as little as two days to expedite our clients needs.
Eight of the top twelve issues found during a home inspection involve moisture related problems. Excessive moisture comes from many sources and must be eliminated or managed to prevent damages to the buildings components and health issues to occupants. We use Infrared Thermography to survey areas of concern and follow up with highly specialized moisture meters to determine the extent of moisture penetration, concentration and possible damage.
Asbestos is a tiny fiber that was used in the past primarily as insulation. It was also added to some building materials to provide added strength and flame resistance. The problem with asbestos is that it has been shown to cause lung cancer and mesothelioma in individuals that were exposed to large amounts of free-floating asbestos fibers in the air. These conditions typically did not become apparent until around 30 years after the exposure. Because of the health hazards of asbestos fibers, its use in insulation and paint was banned in the 1970’s.
Lead can be found in all parts of our environment – the air, the soil, the water, and even inside our homes. Much of our exposure comes from human activities including the use of fossil fuels including past use of leaded gasoline, some types of industrial facilities, and past use of lead-based paint in homes. Lead and lead compounds have been used in a wide variety of products found in and around our homes, including paint, ceramics, pipes and plumbing materials, solders, gasoline, batteries, ammunition, and cosmetics.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US
Dear Phil, I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how pleased my husband and I were with your services. When we found ourselves in need of an inspector to work with we pulled from several sources; real estate agent, personal references, and the yellow pages. After we contacted your company we were pleased to find not only did you have 27 years of inspection experience, but that you could accommodate the unusual hours that our client preferred. We really appreciate the information you exchanged with us on site during the inspection. Your attention to detail was excellent ! We also appreciated your suggestions of how we could possibly resolve problems. If we are ever in need of inspection services or have any recommendations solicited from us we will be sure to send them your way.
Thanks again, Krista McCampbell

Summary: A+ work, A+ value, A+ guy
Phil Henderson inspected a property on 4/18/16 that I am in the process of purchasing. He arrived 15 minutes early in a clean and professional looking van and was well dressed himself. Phil was friendly and sociable from the start. I chose to be present during the inspection and am very happy I did. The inspection began with Phil walking the roof and inspecting the exterior of the property. Next Phil got out his drone and took aerial pictures of the roof and property. He had already found issues with the roof within the first 15 minutes. The inspection then moved inside where Phil meticulously inspected and photographed the entire house including the attic and crawl spaces. I chose to have the thermal imaging done during my inspection which uncovered that one of the walls had no insulation in it! The amount of information gathered from the thermal imaging was incredible. Phil showed me how he measured the AC inlet and outlet temperatures and could check for AC leaks with the thermal. I could go on and on about the thermal but for brevity sake I will say that I think it was worth every penny. From start to finish he was there for approx. 3 hours. He discovered multiple issues that I was unaware of and provided picture documentation of all of them. I chose to have Phil inspect my future home because I heard he was a good, honest guy that did quality work and am happy to report that all of these are true. I am thankful for the great work Phil did and am confident that I know the true condition of the home I am purchasing. I asked Phil for multiple business cards before he left because I will be emphatically recommending him to everyone I know.
