Why Should you test for Radon? According to the EPA, everyone should test for Radon. We offer testing using state or the art Sun Nuclear continuous monitors. Our monitors are calibrated yearly by a independent lab to ensure accuracy.
Should you Mitigate? The EPA recommends that everyone should mitigate if the results of the test are 4.0pCi/l or more. So what does 4.0pCi/l mean. Well lets put it in everyday terms. According to Radon Awareness "If you live in a home for 1 year that has exactly 4.0 pCi/L then your radiation exposure is the same as 200 chest x-rays per year."

Phil Henderson inspected a property on 4/18/16 that I am in the process of purchasing. He arrived 15 minutes early in a clean and professional looking van and was well dressed himself. Phil was friendly and sociable from the start. I chose to be present during the inspection and am very happy I did. The inspection began with Phil walking the roof and inspecting the exterior of the property. Next Phil got out his drone and took aerial pictures of the roof and property. He had already found issues with the roof within the first 15 minutes. The inspection then moved inside where Phil meticulously inspected and photographed the entire house including the attic and crawl spaces. I chose to have the thermal imaging done during my inspection which uncovered that one of the walls had no insulation in it! The amount of information gathered from the thermal imaging was incredible. Phil showed me how he measured the AC inlet and outlet temperatures and could check for AC leaks with the thermal. I could go on and on about the thermal but for brevity sake I will say that I think it was worth every penny. From start to finish he was there for approx. 3 hours. He discovered multiple issues that I was unaware of and provided picture documentation of all of them. I chose to have Phil inspect my future home because I heard he was a good, honest guy that did quality work and am happy to report that all of these are true. I am thankful for the great work Phil did and am confident that I know the true condition of the home I am purchasing.
